Dusti Gets Win #1
Just one year out of high-school, Dusti Carlisle made July 12th a night to remember as she captured her first career feature victory taking her number 23 Stalker Chevrolet B-mod to victory lane. Starting outside on the front row the Creston youngster lead from start to finish in a feature that was uninterrupted by the caution flag.
In the other classes it was three defending champions - Jeremy Purdy, Greg Miller, and Jason O'Brien taking home the checkers, while Jesse Dennis came back from a dismal finish last week to claim win number eight of the 2014 season.
A Benefit for Dave Sink of Stanton will be held Sunday, July 13 from 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM at Stanton's Mamrelund Lutheran Church. Mills-Montgomery Cattlemen will grill the hamburgers for the meal. A free will donation will be taken to help defray expenses for Dave's battle of stomach cancer. His wife, Joanie, is a nurse in Cardio=Pulmonary Rehab at Montgomery County Memorial hospital in Red Oak.
